Challenge:
Nuclio Digital School needed a program that taught entrepreneurship in a practical, not theoretical, way. The students were interested but lacked concrete tools to validate ideas and understand how startups actually work.
Design:
Development of a curriculum with 5 theoretical and practical workshops
Methodological framework:
- Icebreaker activities at the beginning of each class, such as the “30 Circles” exercise, to free minds and put aside prejudices.
- Design process: Using the design thinking double diamond to guide students through the phases.
- Business validation tools: I integrated the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas as core tools in the validation stage.
Hands-on experiential learning:
- Each workshop combined a theoretical introduction with immediate practical implementation.
- Each case was from real startups, not isolated case studies.
- Group feedback sessions, simulating investor/mentor dynamics.
Impact and results
- Practical understanding of the tools, applicable to any project.
- More than 80% of students used their own project ideas for their work, which validates the techniques and tools.
- The program was permanently adopted by Nuclio.
- A shift in direction was generated, from “I would like to start a business” to “I have the tools to start a business.”
What it proves:
- Ability to translate complex frameworks into accessible and fun learning experiences
- Creating value for both students (practical tools) and the institution (differentiated offering).
